NEUROPSYCHOLOGY

What is neuropsychological testing?

Neuropsychological testing is designed to help you understand how your brain works. As part of the evaluation, Dr. Doug will test many parts of your cognitive functioning, including your IQ, memory, attention, visual-spatial skills, and speed of processing, as well as executive functioning, which includes your ability to make decisions, problem solve, and multitask. If you are in school, parts of the evaluation also include testing your academic abilities, like math, reading, and writing. The goal is to help you understand your cognitive strengths and weaknesses so you can be the best version of yourself! Results of the evaluation can you help you in school or work and can also provide you or your child with academic recommendations to ensure the best academic performance.
